Made of crimson amber with black stripes, this cup looks transparent. The cup is comprised of a lotus-shaped body and a fisherman-shaped handle. The rim of the cup is well grounded and smooth. A fish hawk with a pointed beak and round eyes is carved on one side of the cup. On the other side of the cup, a few lotus roots and tendrils, to which the fisherman is connected, stretch out. Wearing his hair high in a bun, the fisherman is naked to the waist and has strong arms. He carries a fish basket on his back, wears high boots, and holds a fish in his left hand. The fish, with its mouth wide open and its scales clearly visible, looks lively as if it is struggling to breathe. With great skills, the artisan carved out such an interesting art treasure that has always amazed people in later generations.
